Justin Bieber has been enjoying his time with Hailey Bieber and chosen not to focus on the Grammy awards despite being nominated.

This should come as no surprise, given that Justin has previously hit out at the organisers for only placing him in the pop categories. Justin does have a point as he has reinvented himself into a versatile artist since he blew up on the scene following his hit song ‘Baby.’ And yet, the ceremony deemed otherwise. In a previous post to his fans on Instagram, he stated how bemused he was.
He said: “I set out to make an R&B album. Changes was and is an R&B album. It is not being acknowledged as an R&B album which is very strange to me. I grew up admiring R&B music and wished to make a project that would embody that sound.” His early pop success has pigeon-holed him into a certain category. He has become a victim of his own success.
That is not to say that Justin does not appreciate such a label, but rather there is more to him than that. He added: “To be clear, I absolutely love Pop music. It just wasn’t what I set out to make this time around. My gratitude for feeling respected for my work remains, and I am honoured to be nominated either way.”
An artist rarely turns down any awards unless there are some underlying issues. Justin has previously spoken about not having enough creative control in the past, which was why he decided to take a break from music. And yet, things may have gone full circle again. So, when the ceremony occurred Justin was preoccupied with other matters: Hailey.
In a further post on Instagram, Justin simply put: “Date night.” He stayed true to those words as he was spotted having lunch with Hailey. In the picture, we can see them laughing together as they enjoy some salad without a care in the world. It is right that Justin is putting Hailey first before his career. He has not exactly had the best track record in that department.
