‘Days of our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that the news we’ve all been waiting for has arrived, in the form of Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera) blabbing during a… Mission:Impossible podcast? Let’s blow past that and just say that Thaao revealed he will soon be sharing scenes in Salem with his long lost and once dead little brother- EJ!
It’s the storyline we’ve anticipated since we saw Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) poke EJ’s lifeless body with Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) magic resurrection juice.
Though we’ve caught glimpses of a bandaged mummy-man, and we’ve all heard that Sami Brady-DiMera (Alison Sweeney) is nursing her husband back to health in Italy, this will be the first time EJ will be seen by viewers since 2015!
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ DiMera Will Finally Be Returning to Salem…But How Will He Look?
While a collective squeal was let out by middle-aged female DOOL fans everywhere, we are here to ruin your day warn you that James Scott once said in an interview that he’d never return to Days.
Ever…Ever, ever, ever. In fact, he sounded even more convincing than Taylor Swift so head honcho, Ron Carlivati has finally admitted he’s been dumped and has recast the role.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: How can we have EJ without the debonair James Scott?
No news has been confirmed yet as to who will be filling Scott’s very, very handsome shoes but rumors have been running wild as fans say Daniel Goddard, best known as The Young and the Restless’ Cane Ashby, has left a few hints on his social media that he might show up in Salem sometime soon. Goddard has denied the rumors.
So, while we aren’t sure how Elvis Jnr will look, word in the town square is that the character has already followed wife, Sami back to the States and back to Salem and is currently on set filming.
With the timing of filming/airing, it is likely EJ (James Scott) will premiere his new face in the summer, probably either just before, or just after the planned Olympics hiatus.
How are the EJ fans meant to wait that long? Maybe we can keep ourselves busy by speculating who might be jumping into the role…leave your dream casting below and keep watching DOOL, weekdays on NBC!
