CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (DOOL) spoilers For March 17 find that if there’s one things the show has learned about Genoa City, it’s that the more things don’t change, the more they stay the same.
Everything circles back from one week to the next as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) swaps out one child for another and one person gets a different disease after their significant other gets better.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For March 17: Rey’s turn
In the case of the latter, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will learn what’s bothering him, and we have a feeling it’ll be more than he’s expecting, though simple would probably work better in this case.
It follows on the heels of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) getting a clean bill of health from her cancer treatments and a couple of months of arguing.
Of course, he could finally be having that aneurism that’s been growing since Sharon decided to go behind his back numerous times to treat Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for this, that, and the other.
This should be the moment that’ll force them to set aside their differences and Sharon and Rey can bond over it and get a fresh start.
It’ll work even better since sometimes the small scare is more effective than a big one, and seeing a rock like Rey nearly brought down might finally put some sense in Sharon’s head.
Until the next Newman wanders into her orbit.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For March 17: Victor encourages Adam
We mentioned in the beginning that Victor swapped out his children, and it’s no surprise that he’s showering Adam with praise and empowering him to be his absolute best as they prepare for a new company.
Victor has long hoped his children would follow in his footsteps. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) did that, but when his dark sheep of a son needed him he rushed to his aid.
And now he’s pitting them against each other to make them stronger while giving Adam all the support he used to give Victoria before she went rogue.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For March 17: Lily clears the air
Speaking of Victoria, her near constant plays to regain Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s affection and then confessing her love for him remains was bound to come back to her at some point.
So, it’s not surprising that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will confront her and make her feeling known, with a possible threat or two as to what will happen if Victoria keeps trying to take him.
Of course, the threats won’t be from Lily as she’ll point out her games will only push Billy further away.
Victoria will know she hit a nerve and probably feel like she’s winning since Lily’s so insecure.
This should be interesting to see what they come up with over the next few weeks as Billy becomes a tennis ball.
