’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Brandon Gibb might have just pulled off a hostage negotiation situation. It’s long been a point of contention, ever since Julia Trubkina landed in the US, that she and Brandon get to stay in the same room.
However Betty and Ron Gibb, Brandon’s parents, were extremely conservative and not really having any of it. They wanted Brandon and Julia to have separate rooms up until the day they wed – at least until now. Brandon sat his parents down and said that he and Julia were going to up and leave the farm and they would have to find an apartment. Betty almost immediately broke down crying.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Will Betty compromise to keep Brandon on the farm?
She said that Brandon was her only son, her baby boy, and she didn’t want to lose him. She went onto say that she had hoped to pass down the farm and have Brandon’s children love it like they did, however Brandon, even though he said he hated seeing his Mom cry, was not swayed by tears.
He said that in order to have him and Julia stay at the farm that there would have to be a bargaining chip thrown in and the first thing he did was lay the whole same room debacle at his Mom’s feet.
Ron immediately said no. I guess Ron is a take-no-prisoners type of guy, he said that there has to be some respect for their rules and that was just non-negotiable and that if Brandon really felt that way then maybe he and Julia did need to find their own apartment.
However, Betty seemed a lot more open to the idea now that she was faced with imminently saying goodbye to her only son. This is going to prove interesting because this is going to definitely cause a bit of rift between Ron and the rest of the family. If Brandon, Julia, and Betty are all on the same page but Ron isn’t, that’s going to be some awkward dinners together, that’s for sure!
Betty was trying to call Ron down in the parking lot, telling him to think positive thoughts only but I’m not sure that Ron can do this and I’m pretty sure that he’s not going to like the fact that Brandon and Julia would have practically been given permission to hook up right under his nose.
In a way, I can kind of see Ron’s point because it is super-weird to have your kid and their fiance under the same roof. However at the same time, they’re getting married in 3 months so it wouldn’t be that long of a time. 90 days isnt exactly all that long if you think about it. Will Ron be able to grin and bear it? Stay tuned!!!
