Sofia Richie, the daughter of the well renowned Lionel Ritchie, has gotten over her split with Scott Disick after she was spotted with Matthew Morton.
Sofia Richie Has A New Flame In Matthew Morton
Sofia was seen in Miami on the beach kissing what seemed to be Mathew. A source told Us Weekly that they are not rushing into anything: “They’re trying not to make a big deal about their relationship or about how serious it is. But they are definitely seeing each other. They both run in the same circle and have known each other. So, it’s easy and fun for both of them. Sofia’s family approves of him, which is super nice for her.”
The new relationship comes following her split from Scott. They had been together for three years before they called it quits last year. The decision, though, was driven by Scott. A source claimed at the time: “Sofia really pushed to make things work between them after they initially broke up, but Scott officially called it off recently, and they are no longer speaking. Friends attributed their 15-year age difference becoming an issue.
“He’s in a very much different place in his life, really focused on a more quiet lifestyle, his kids and his investment businesses, and Sofia is really still trying to figure what she wants to do, which drove them apart over time.” But another source suggested, her family was behind the decision: “Sofia’s family think she is way better off without him. They have been advising her to do her own thing, especially during the quarantine.
“He has been separating herself from the equation, and it has been the healthy thing for her and her family.” Scott, by his own admission, has been moving on too. He was spotted with Amelia Gray Hamlin at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party. And by all accounts, things are going great. A source said at the time: “Scott and Amelia are in a really good place. They have a lot of love and respect for each other, and it shows.”
