‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ spoilers say that Kelly Dodd is setting the record straight. The brunette beauty says she did not get fired from the hit Bravo show, although she didn’t really explain why the rumors surfaced in the first place.
Kelly took to her Twitter account to directly address her fans – and maybe even some critics out there – when she wrote, “It’s actually kinda funny… I’ve heard these rumors every year for the last five years. Looking forward to my sixth season #RHOC 16!”

One follower then responded with, “So many people boycotted this season cause of her and I really thought @BravoTV was taking Notice. I’m going to have to join the boycott if she’s back on. I feel like between the covid and racism and doxxing @Andy needs to draw the line I mean honestly it’s dangerous.”
Another critic added, “I’m thinking Bravo would rather lose the 15 viewers that love you than the hundreds of thousands that dropped the show like a hot potato after your reckless comments all season.”
Kelly has done such things as comparing Covid-19 to a fart and said that the pandemic is “God’s way of thinning the herd.”
In a sneak peek from the upcoming RHOC reunion, Kelly told Andy, “Well I hate wearing a mask. I think everybody’s on that with me. I will wear them because I have to but does your pants protect you from a fart? Like is it helping? Are the masks helping? I don’t know.”
Back in December, Kelly said that she regretted the insensitive comments she made about the global pandemic. The brunette beauty expressed remorse for saying that Covid-19 was “God’s way of thinning the herd.”“Of course I regret saying that,” she told Andy Cohen.
“It was a stupid thing for me to say. It was insensitive and I apologize if I hurt or offended anybody cause that wasn’t really my intention. I got freaked out about it and, in hindsight, it was the stupidest thing I’ve ever said.”
