Marilyn Manson’s house was subject to a visit by the Los Angeles Police Department after concerns were raised about the star’s safety.
Police Arrived Outside Marilyn Manson’s House
The raid occurred after one of Manson’s friends could not get a hold of him which led to the police being called. But on arrival, there were no safety fears. A spokesperson for the police said: [ There was] no evidence of any trouble. We did make contact with someone and were able to find that there was no evidence of any trouble.”
However, witnesses on the scene became worried that something may have happened. One said: “It sounded like a large gathering, no music but raised voices, and people in the garden just meters from the cops.” But another sounded more alarmed: We heard someone inside shouting they wanted to leave’ but ‘that someone wouldn’t let them leave.”
This all occurred in light of allegations that the star had been abusing his ex Evan Rachel Wood. She recently told her fans on Instagram: “The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started grooming me when I was a teenager, and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission.”
And yet, Marilyn has continued to deny the accusations. In an official statement on Instagram, he said: “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”
And someone close to Marilyn has been shocked by it all. Step forward, his ex Von Tees. She told her fans on Instagram: “I have been processing the news that broke Monday regarding Marilyn Manson.
To those who have expressed your concerns of my well-being, I appreciate your kindness. Please know that the details made public do not match my personal experience during our seven years together as a couple.
“Had they, I would not have married him in December 2005. I left 112 months later due to infidelity and drug abuse. Abuse of any kind has no place in any relationship. I urge those of you who have incurred abuse to take steps to heal and the strength to fully realize yourself. This is my sole statement in this matter. Thank you for respecting this request.”
