Paris Hilton was overcome with excitement following her engagement to Carter Reum. The two have been together since 2019 and given by Paris’ comments, they do not look like they will slow down anytime soon.
Paris Hilton ‘Started Shaking And Crying’ When She Realised Her Engagement To Carter Reum Was Official
When speaking to People, she revealed the moment that she knew she would be getting engaged and her subsequent reaction. She said: “I just started shaking and crying because I was so excited, so happy. It was so nice that he thought to have our families there to celebrate the moment.”
And this is just the start as Paris is planning on having kids: “It’s something we’ve talked [having a family] about a lot ever since we’ve been together. First the wedding, then the babies. I’m [And Paris will decide the names ] going to take it, but I feel like a hyphenated thing like Paris Hilton-Reum, because my name is just my name. I like it.”
She has always been open about her desire to have children. And with the engagement out of the way, she might be turning her attention to kids. She previously spoke on how important children are in having a successful life:
“I really do believe that having a family and having children is the meaning of life. I haven’t got to experience that yet because I don’t feel that anyone really deserved that love from me, and now I’ve finally found the person who does, so I cannot wait for that next step.”
The recent engagement has put an end to the horror that she had experienced when she had to testify on the abuse she had gone through during her teenage years. She told the Utah Senate earlier this year the following: “I am an institutional abuse survivor, and I speak today on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children currently in residential care facilities across the United States.
“For the past 20 years, I have had a recurring nightmare where I’m kidnapped in the middle of the night by two strangers, strip-searched and locked in a facility. I wish I could tell you that this haunting nightmare was just a dream, but it is not.”
