‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ spoilers find that Kourtney Kardashian has made her voice heard as she is apparently stepping up and consoling Kim Kardashian through her divorce from Kanye West.
‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Spoilers: Kourtney ‘Is There For Kim’ Amid Her Divorce From Kanye
It is reported that Kourtney has been there to console Kim and make sure that adequate arrangements have been made for the welfare of her four kids: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 21 months. A source told Us Weekly:
“Kourtney has been trying really hard to be there for Kim this week. Kim was over at Kourtney’s on Wednesday, [February 17,] as the preparations for [the Friday, February 19, divorce filing] were being finalized.” The divorce had been rumoured to be on the cards for a while.
And Kim’s wider family were aware of that according to another source who claimed that the work had been going on behind the scenes: “The filing wasn’t a surprise to either of them; both knew it was coming. There is no one person who is exiting the marriage. They both just grew apart from each other. They both wanted to make the marriage work — that’s why they put this off for so long.”
It is good to see Kim have her wider family supporting her through this terrible ordeal. And yet, what about Kanye? We know that he has historically suffered from mental health problems, and by all accounts, the divorce has set him back even further. An insider said:
“Kim was always Kanye’s dream girl — even before they got together — so the thought of her not being his wife anymore is a lot to take in. Whether it’s the best decision for their family or not.” In an attempt to deal with the pain, Kanye has allegedly turned his attention to his work: “Kanye has been trying to throw himself into work the past few weeks, but it’s been hard to stay focused with the split weighing on him.
“[Kanye] knew it was coming [and] he processes everything that’s going on.” He will need all his friends around him to make sure that he does not have another relapse. If dealt with properly, Kanye can bounce back and show the world the musical genius that he is. After all, it has been a while since the rapper has had a major hit song.
