‘Days of our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have found that fans are thrilled to see that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is starting to trust his gut—and Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk)—about the probability that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is still alive. Cin-stans are counting the days until Ciara and Ben are reunited and and have been loving the supernatural romantic pay-offs head DOOL writer, Ron Carlivati has promised to drop along the way.
But what will happen to our favorite newlyweds after Ben does come to the rescue (or after kick-ass Ciara saves herself)?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Another recast coming up for Ciara Brady?
With no news from Victoria Konefal’s camp about rejoining the cast full time, Ciara taking off again—perhaps to find mother Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) —pretty much throws a spanner in the happily ever after thing.
Last week we posed the question to Daily Soap Dish readers- would they rather lose Ciara again or have the role recast? Overwhelmingly, the answer was to recast.
So now we’re posing another question about Ciara’s future…and it involves a blast from Ciara’s past.
When Ciara was aged-up in 2015 fans said goodbye to Lauren Boles and hello to Vivian Jovanni. In the role of teenaged Ciara for 2 years, Jovanni received generally negative reviews, though some fans defended Jovanni and believed it was less her acting and more the writing that let the character down.
How would you feel if Days was to bring Jovanni back? It’s not unheard of for Days to recycle old cast, both Kate Mansi and Marci Miller have had a couple of turns each as Abigail Devereaux DiMera.
It has been several years since Jovanni was recast with Konefal. Perhaps Jovanni has received some more training or experience, though her IMDb page only mentions a small part in one horror movie since her Days tenure. After 4 years, do you think we should give her another shot?
Given that Victoria and Robert smoulder together, it may not be the easiest to create that lightning in a bottle again for any actress. Do you think Robert and Vivian would be able to give us the Cin-ful relationship Days fans are craving?
