ABC ‘The Bachelorette’ Spoilers: Hannah Brown Opens Up On Body Issues

When discussing it with her fans on Youtube, she revealed how conscious she was: “I had a really round face like I still do now and huge dimples. Everyone would always comment on my ‘little chubby face.” And it was her legs that continued to play on her mind. She added: “[My mom would say] logger legs. She said, ‘If we had strong legs, we could pick up trees. I don’t naturally have a thigh gap. I always hated my legs. I wanted to be perfect. I was always self-conscious that I wasn’t as thin as I wanted to be.”

Hannah then revealed how she struggled with her eating habits: “I lost, like, 15 pounds in a month. I had abs for the first time. My legs were still bigger; I felt bigger. I was so hungry—[But] all the weight came back on and more. I had a lot of anxiety—a lot of depression.” She admitted that she always struggled with confidence: “I didn’t have any self-worth through all that. I have definitely struggled with accepting the way my body is now.

“Loving myself and knowing because I have taken off this time [from working out post-DWTS], is loving my body. I needed rest. I needed to dig deep emotionally in who I want to be.” Having said that, things seem to be going great with her new flame, Adam Woolard. A source told Us Weekly: “They seem like a great match. They’re both from the south. He’s into working out, staying fit and enjoys doing a lot of sports: kickboxing, soccer, baseball, tennis — you name it.”

With that, Adam fits the perfect definition for what Hannah wanted. She told her fans: “I just want a cute guy to hang out with and take me on a date. Somebody [who] can buy my drinks, my food, my coffee. I like coffee dates. I’m more into that. I think, like, a surfing date would be fun. Skateboarding? I don’t know. I just want it to be very relaxed.”
