‘Real Housewives of New York’ spoilers say Luann de Lesseps sure isn’t winning new fans or friends these days but that shouldn’t really surprise us, right? There is a new report that says the beautiful brunette is being slammed by all different directions for jeopardizing the filming of RHONY by partying maskless. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Page Six, Luann was seen maskless at an indoor birthday party in Coral Gables, Florida over the weekend. She was with friends that included former Real Housewives of Miami stars Marysol Patton and Alexia Echevarria. As many fans know, production of RHONY has been forced to shut down because one cast member tested positive for Covid-19.

However, Luann told the site that party organizers had required a negative COVID test before revelers were allowed inside the bash, and that she had been wearing a mask at the party.
“I took the mask off for some photos,” Luann said. “Knowing everyone had tested negative, I felt comfortable doing that.” The reality television star also added that she will quarantine when she gets back to New York.
Just last year Luann opened up about why she started drinking again. In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that even though she believes she has a problem, the sobriety was a mandate of her probation, forcing her to quit drinking right away. Because she wasn’t given enough time to deal with her issues and her alcoholism, that might have contributed to her hitting the bottle again.
Luanne said, “If I had a drink, I could go to jail. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through.”
Once her ordeal with her probation was over, Luanne admits that she had a hard time deciding whether or not alcohol was going to be a part of her lifestyle.
“When I got through to the other side I really had the choice myself to decide if I wanted to drink or not and I felt in a good place and I felt I was back in the driver’s seat,” she told Cohen, adding, “Now I don’t have anybody watching over my shoulder except for me. I got through it and thank God.”
The Real Housewives of New York star was arrested back on Christmas Eve of 2017 after she slammed a door and kicked at least one of the officers that tried to arrest her. At one point she even threated the responding officers’ lives.
