British Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Too Sensitive Over Queen Elizabeth’s Snubs?
One royal expert says that the Sussexes might have overreacted to what they believe was a huge snub by the Queen.
Royal author and Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk in a new interview, “Regarding the photographs, we always show interest the fact that the Sussexes were far too touchy last year. It was simply the line of succession and that was why they didn’t feature. A lot has been made of this, of course, there will be great interest because there was interest last year.”
He added, “It’s impossible to know what theme she will choose for photographs this year but I think they [Meghan and Harry] were too touchy.”
The four photos last year included Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles along with Prince William, who is second in line to the throne, with his family. There was also a photo of Prince Philip and a photo of the Queen’s father, King George VI.
Commenting on the choice of images at the time, royal expert Anne Whitelock said: “You could read into that that, simply, she is focused on her father and then the direct heirs to the throne.”
So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the apparent ‘snub.’
