Netflix’s ‘Cobra Kai’ continues to be one of the biggest series and most popular. With its unique mixture of nostalgia and new characters, it’s the perfect addition to ‘The Karate Kid’ universe. With the release of season three on New Year’s, many people have already binged it and are anxiously awaiting the next season.
Netflix realizes we want as much ‘Cobra Kai’ as possible and even got Tae Bo legend Billy Blanks to come to make a special video. Take a look at the video below that was uploaded with the following description,
“Kickstart 2021 with a high-intensity Cobra Kai workout! Join honorary Cobra Kai Sensei Billy Blanks to learn how to strike first, strike hard, and show no mercy. This is Tae Bo, the Cobra Kai way. With a new sensei at the helm of the Cobra Kai dojo, a three-way feud takes center stage. Old grudges — like Cobra Kai — never die.”

Fans commented on the video, “This show gonna make us actually workout during quarantine”, “I think i speak for everyone when i say, Netflix if u cancel this show u better watch out!”, “There are now 4 dojos! Cobra Kai, Miyagi-do, Eagle Fang and this”, “And People thought Kreese called Silver at the end of S3.” and “Billy Blanks is a cobra kai, did not see that coming”.
This is a cool way to promote ‘Cobra Kai’ and super cool to see Billy Blanks is still going strong. I think every person around in the 90s’ and early 2000s remembers Tae Bo. We just didn’t expect to see Billy be a Cobra Kai. How disappointing.
What do you think? Can you believe they got Billy Blanks to come do this? Let us know in the comments below.
