Netflix ‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 spoilers say that unfortunately, there is not very good news available for fans of the hit Netflix series who were hoping to see the second season sooner rather than later.

Netflix ‘Bridgerton’ Season 2: Phoebe Dynevor Concerned About Filming Amid Covid-19 Pandemic

Bridgerton Season 1 wrapped up filming in February of last year and just a month before the film and television industry – along with the rest of the world – were forced to shut down because of Covid-19.

While Netflix is yet to make any official announcements about the second season, Phoebe is unsure how they will go about filming. The hugely popular Netflix series Bridgerton tells the story of eight close-knit siblings of the powerful Bridgerton family as they attempt to find love during the Regency era in England.

Phoebe told Deadline in a new interview that she is unsure how and when the second season will begin filming.  “I genuinely have no idea what they’re going to do with the second season, but I imagine if they’re following the books, then it would be Anthony’s journey,” she says over a Zoom call from her home in Manchester. “I’m sure Daphne will end up getting involved. But yeah, I do wonder what it looks like. I’m excited to find out.”

Phoebe also says the final few days on set being a “crazy” time, during which the ever-encroaching virus was a source of fevered discussion. “We just managed to finish. It was amazing,” she remembers.

With that said, the actress added that she doesn’t see how the show will be able to implement all of the strict Covid-19 and social distancing protocols needed in order to make sure that the cast and crew remain healthy and safe during filming at all times.

“I can’t imagine how it would be possible to film under these circumstances. There are so many extras and so many crew members, and it’s a very intimate show. It just baffles me how we would film it under Covid rules unless there was a vaccine beforehand,” the actress said.
