Just when you thought things could not get worse for Hilaria Baldwin, what happened, they actually did. The former yoga teacher is now facing severe financial consequences in light of the controversy surrounding her Spanish heritage.
Hilaria Baldwin: Star Loses Endorsement Deals In Light Of Spanish Heritage Controversy
So what have been these dire consequences? Hilaria has lost her deal with the baby brand Cuties Baby Care who confirmed that they would not be pursuing any relationship with the star. In an official company statement, a spokesperson said:
“In response to the inquiries we have received, we would like to inform all of our loyal Cuties followers that Hilaria’s partnership with Cuties Baby Care ended at the end of 2020. We thank Hilaria for the support she provided in 2020 and wish her, and her family continued health and happiness in the New Year.”
But before we delve into what the motivations were behind the company’s decision, it is vital to bear in mind their comments. In another statement, the company said: “The agreement expired at the end of December after all contractual obligations were filled.”
And when you thought things could not get worse, that is precisely what happened. The Mattel toy label, American Girl also confirmed that they would not be associating with Hilaria. However, we do not know whether there will be any further ramifications for her.
The star has a working relationship with various global brands, including Mattel toy label, Fisher-Price, vacuum brand Bissell, and sparkling water company Spindrift. Whether they follow suit is only a question of time, and it would be a further blow to Hilaria who just cannot seem to get a lucky break.
So what has been the reaction by fans to all this? One fan on Twitter said the following comment: “You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade long grift, where she impersonates a Spanish person.”
Alec Baldwin has remained defiant as ever and continued to back his wife in light of all this. When posting on his Twitter, he said: “You have to kind of hack your way through the debris of Twitter. Twitter is just a vast orchard of cr**. There’s things that have been said lately about people that I love, that I care about deeply, which are ridiculous. I mean, just ridiculous. “They’ve said it about people I love – false things. Untrue things.
“And as much as that hurts, the only thing I can do is talk to that half of the public or that portion of the public who understands what I mean when I say: “Consider the source. When you love somebody, you want to defend them.”
It is good to see that the two are staying united as ever. If you enjoyed reading this, then you can check out our other articles on the Daily Soap Dish.
