CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers love how things never work out in Genoa City. Not at first, anyway.
Something things are so badly planned we can tell they’re going to blow up way before they do, while others are slow burners that are often revisited down the road.
We’re fans of the latter, though the former definitely has its moments, such as how Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is going to work to protect her personal interests.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 26: All mine
Of course, this will backfire in spectacular fashion, but until then, she’s going to try something to make Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) hesitate around Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and that should be interesting.
Our guess is she’ll say something about the kids or being worried how they’ll react with her not there.
It’ll be something she’ll think is subtle, but we expect Billy to pick up on it and he’ll start to see how things have been working toward that.
We don’t think he’ll do anything here, but he’ll be wise to Victoria’s game.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 26: Devon’s Promise
To help balance things out, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will try to do the right thing and be a standup guy by making a promise to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
This should be a touching scene as Amanda’s about to go to New York for a week with Lily, and we think it’s a slow down moment before their relationship jumps to the next level.
‘The Young and the Restless’ think he’ll promise to be in Genoa City when she gets back, plus to be available any time she needs to talk while she’s gone.
It’s a friendly thing to do, but it’s possibly he’ll be looking to set the stage for where he sees things going.
It could be nothing more than friends from his point of view, so this should be interesting if she expects more.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For January 26: Nick’s stressed
And then there’s the fun times of knowing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is going to stir things up with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) when he asked Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to help.
This isn’t going to end well if Faith finds out her dad went to Nikki after her mom did.
Sure, it makes sense as he wants to help her and he’ll do anything he can think of to do that.
Unfortunately, we expect Faith to feel that she can’t trust anyone and she’ll take off or have another problem.
Do you think Nikki will tell Nick about her previous offer, and how will Faith react?
