British Royal Family News: Sarah Ferguson Is Writing A Historical Romance Loosely Based On Her Aunt’s Life
British Royal Family News find that it looks like Sarah Ferguson wants to write a novel about all of the romance, dalliances with princes, and secret escapades that her relative once experienced in her life.
As a matter of fact, new reports say that the Duchess of York has landed a book deal for her debut novel in which she will write a fictionalized version of her life and the loves of her great-great-great aunt. Here’s what you need to know.
In a video that was posted to her Twitter account this week, the mother-of-two said that her novel, which is called Her Heart for a Compass, is set in the Victorian era and is about “daring to follow your heart against the odds.”

What’s more, Sarah even wore a Victorian-styled dress in the video and says that her heroine is someone who is “strong, rebellious and courageous.” The novel is set to be published in August.
Publisher Mills & Boon, a romance imprint of British publisher Harlequin UK, said the story is based on Sarah’s ancestor, Lady Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott, who fled an arranged marriage and “the confines of polite society.”
Meanwhile, Sarah is set to celebrate another huge moment in her family’s life: her daughter Princess Eugenie is expecting her first child sooner rather than later.
In fact, new reports say that Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank recently moved in to Prince Andrew and Princess Eugenie’s home just so they could be a little closer to her parents before she gives birth and after, especially when she is going to need the most help. So far Princess Eugenie has not made any comments about her due date.
