Hollywood actor Armie Hammer went viral on Instagram as a series of posts were attributed to the star in what seemed to be chats about cannibalism that were sent to a fellow female user.
Armie Hammer Linked To Cannibalism In A Case Of A Mistaken DM Attributed To The Star
The post in question referred to a DM which stated: “I am 100% a cannibal.” However, soon before long, fans started to question the posts’ credibility as it became noticeable that they originated from an account that was not verified.
The star is not unfamiliar with controversy, and we only have to go back as far as 2017 when Armie was linked with tweets dealing with bondage. For some of those very reasons, he previously decided to quit social media only to return the following year. When addressing it, he said that alcohol might have influenced his decision:
“They should put a blood alcohol measuring device on cell phones to keep you from drunkenly reactivating your Twitter. Anytime I would open up my Twitter, it was just a ton of that,’ he said, ‘and I was like, ‘Nope, I can’t have my nose rubbed in this anymore. I’m out!”
The star is all too aware of the struggle and problems as he went to outline. The pandemic, in particular, has contributed to that:“I think like everyone else on the planet; I felt like the rug was ripped from under my feet. “And I felt like I could feel it happening in slow-motion like the rug was just being ripped from my feet and I was falling face-first, and I was gonna smash my face on the ground.
“I felt like I was in a state of like, free-fall almost like it was just, it was really difficult.” Nevertheless, Armie did acknowledge that although he had a hard time, his privileged background made it more comfortable in comparison to others: “I know there are people that had it way harder than I did,’ he said, ‘but it’s all subjective, you can only deal with your own reality and mine felt like it was falling apart.
That’s a really kind of scary place but at the same time it’s a place of change in change is the only universal constant. Change is scary, but at the same time, change always precipitates growth, and it was the time to grow.” It is good to hear that Armie has learned from his experiences.
