Ariana Grande’s friends are concerned that the singer rushed her engagement to her new fiancé Dalton Gomez a little too quickly. In fact, some are even saying that Ariana’s current engagement is moving along faster than those tattoos she got during her very short but also ill-fated relationship and engagement to her ex, Pete Davidson. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, Ariana and Dalton just began their relationship earlier this year when they were in quarantine together during the early months of the pandemic. It didn’t take very long for Ariana to say yes after Dalton proposed to her several months later, which some friends believe feels a little rushed.
Ariana Grande’s Friends Concerned That She Rushed Into Her Engagement Too Quickly
“Ariana and Dalton have been spending a ton of time together since getting engaged and keeping things pretty low key and private,” one source told ET Online. “They’re mainly keeping to themselves and just enjoying their time together.”
And while Ariana and Dalton have certainly done a good job of keeping their relationship under the radar, another source says that the singer’s past highly publicized relationships made her cautious when it came to sharing about her personal life.
Grande was previously engaged to Pete Davidson from June to October 2018. She also dated the late Mac Miller, Big Sean and Ricky Alvarez, among others.
“Ariana has had some hesitation being so public about her relationship with Dalton as she’s seen how that has worn on her past relationships,” the source said. “Dalton and Ariana are in Los Angeles together during quarantine, and it has been a great opportunity for them to spend quality time together.”
So far Ariana Grande herself has not made any comments about her engagement or her personal life with Dalton for that matter.
