It appears that Alec Baldwin has been undergoing quarantine with his wife Hilaria Baldwin, but not in the manner that you might have expected with the news that the two are currently self-isolating from each other as the children reside with Hilaria.
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin Self-Isolate In Separate Households Amid Her Spanish Heritage Scandal
According to a source which spoke to Us Weekly, the two remain separate “while he [Alec] goes back and forth to the city.” The decision, though, will raise questions as to what the real motives are? After all, it is no secret that Hilaria is facing a tough time after the scandal regarding her Spanish heritage which has led to consequences, including financial ones, as several brands have opted to end their working relationship with her.
But before rumours could spiral out of control, Alec addressed the current living situation on social media. When speaking on Instagram live, he said: “[I have been living] a guesthouse that’s near our house. I go into New York and work a little bit and come back and have to quarantine here for a few days. “It’s not a lot of fun.”
Despite the difficult moments, the couple has enjoyed some quality time together on two recent occasions. During the Christmas holidays, the couple were together, and Alec recently threw a huge birthday party for Hilaria, and declared how highly he regards her.
And with that, Alec has been keeping the family together during their rough patches. It was only a while ago that this all started after Hilaria’s comments on her heritage: “My parents and sibling live in Spain, and I chose to live here, in the USA. We celebrate both cultures in our home.
“Alec and I are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. This is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine, and I’m very proud of it.” The comments would come back to haunt Hilaria, but through it all Alec has remained loyal. An insider told Us Weekly that he is “100 percent supporting her during this time” and that Hilaria is “completely upset that people are saying that she lied.”
