ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Does Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) know more than he lets on?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has no problem doing something wrong. Especially if he thinks he’s got a good reason for it. After all, a lie is what tore him and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) apart. But is it worse than we know yet? Let’s take a look at what’s been going on and what it might mean.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lies

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Valentin was motivated to get Nina her daughter back. That was the only way he could think of to get Nina’s forgiveness, but when all his lies about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) came out, he admitted he hit a dead end.

So, the best thing he could think to do was hire Sasha. He wanted Nina to be happy and have a daughter and we think he’s genuine there. That didn’t help Nina, though. She dropped him immediately after the lie came out and moved on with Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). However, that hasn’t been the end of him and Nina.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Making up—sort of

After Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) showed signs of being too much like the other members of the Cassadine family, he wanted to bow out of her life and let Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) take charge of their daughter full-time. He thought it was best.

However, Charlotte didn’t think so and went to Nina. Showing she’s a better person than some would believe, Nina stood up for Valentin. She even convinced him to give up the idea of bowing out.

Since then, there have been multiple occasions where we’ve seen them together. While Valentin obviously still has feelings, Nina doesn’t. However, she does care about him and wants to help him out when she can. That might change soon.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The motive?

So, what does this mean? ‘General Hospital’ spoilers hint that Valentin might know much more than he lets on. Several recent events point to that conclusion. First, there was the fact Nina and that nurse reconnected so quickly after Jax got involved. Seems strange, as Valentin has a ton of money and influence and didn’t get there.

Secondly, he didn’t seem too surprised by the nurse being found. Then, there’s the fact he was actually trying to talk Nina out of her search. It also feels like he doesn’t want Nina to find her. There are two reasons we can think of here and they’re both centered on him knowing exactly who her daughter is.

One, of course, being the one the writers are pointing us at—Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). We can just imagine how she would feel about that news. Especially now that Nelle is dead. He might have been trying to protect her from a painful truth the whole time.

As for the other option, there’s Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). We remember our first episodes, where Nina and Willow were arguing in a self-defense class. That animosity only got worse, and Nina practically made it her mission to cause Willow trouble.

So, we don’t see him jumping to share that news with her, either. It would either make Nina annoyed all her searching led to that, or make her feel guilty she was so mean to her own daughter. It definitely fits with his pattern with Nina, and we can’t wait to see how she’ll react if that’s true.
