If it feels like it’s been forever since we heard Bethenny Frankel make the announcement that she pulled the plug on her marriage to Jason Hoppy, it’s because it is. Even though Bethenny made the decision to split from the businessman back in December of 2012 after two short years of marriage, the Real Housewives of New York star recently admitted that she is still legally married to him.
In other words, Bethenny most likely has the worst celebrity divorce drama on record. Here’s what she has to say. In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the host was left stunned when Bethenny said that she’s still married.
This came after Andy asked Bethenny if she and her boyfriend Paul Bernon, who she has been dating since 2018, are thinking about tying the knot in the near future. Bethenny replied with a blunt, “I’m still married,” to which Andy responded with, “You’re killing me.”

The drama between Bethenny and Jason has surely been enough to fill all the pages of a book. Back in 2017, Jason was arrested for allegedly stalking and harassing his ex-wife Bethenny Frankel. Jason was arrested at their daughter Bryn’s elementary school in New York City last week.
The unlucky in love couple tied the knot back in March of 2010. Bethenny gave birth to their one and only daughter, Bryn, two months later. For those who have been paying attention this last decade, they know Jason and Bethenny had a very public and nasty custody battle over their daughter Bryn.
What’s more, Jason allegedly refused to move out of their Tribeca apartment after their divorce. Needless to say, Bethenny described the situation with him as one of the most excruciating experiences of her life.
If that weren’t enough, in 2015 it was reported that Jason Hoppy was supposedly drunk dialing Bethenny because he wanted to work things out between them. At the time, the RHONY star even shared a meme on her Twitter account that said, “When your ex drunk texts you that he misses you and wants you back. #getoffmyjock.”
