British Royal Family News says that The Crown Season 4 is now available on Netflix and according to critics, everyone is loving it except, of course, members of the royal family. There’s a new report that suggests Buckingham Palace is apparently not thrilled about the show’s depiction of them this season.
What’s more, Prince William is particularly uncomfortable with scenes with his parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, as he has told fans that he believes Netflix is exploiting their marriage and divorce for entertainment purposes. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the Daily Mail, one source puts it this way, “The Duke of Cambridge is none too pleased with it. He feels that both his parents are being exploited and being presented in a false, simplistic way to make money.”

The tipster added, “In this case, it’s dragging up things that happened during very difficult times 25 or 30 years ago without a thought for anyone’s feelings. That isn’t right or fair, particularly when so many of the things being depicted don’t represent the truth.”
If that weren’t enough, sources also add that many staffers behind closed palace doors at Buckingham Palace are raising their eyebrows at Prince Harry for taking millions from a company that is profiting from The Crown.
As many fans probably already know by now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s production company will be making documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming.
The move comes just eight months after the couple stepped down from their roles as senior royals and moved to Los Angeles. Netflix, which has 193 million subscribers worldwide, has not disclosed the financial terms of the deal. What’s more, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are yet to comment about the matter.
