‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) Makes A Sincere Post About #WorldMentalHealth Day

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) will be coming to Genoa City, but along with her character, Hope is a beautiful person and make a great fit for the Y&R family. This was detailed in her post about #WorldMentalHealth day where she went into great detail about her own forms of mental health issues and how everyone can learn to be more supportive and helpful of others. Take a look at her great post below,

“🦋 Embrace it ✨ Today is #WorldMentalHealth day!

I have suffered from anxiety, panic attacks, depression, perfectionism and OCD since I was a KID. I won’t get into it, but MAN it’s been a rollercoaster at times. It’s molded me into the person I am today… and it took half a lifetime to realize that it wasn’t a bad thing! The more I embraced who I was, my sensitivities, my empathy, my tendencies, and was honest about what I was feeling, the more I could truly become all that I was meant to be and finally happy. It’s okay sometimes to not be okay, but no one is too far gone. I’ve been to both ends of the spectrum and always held tight to the notion that NOTHING lasts forever, and it will get better. I’ve had many ups and downs, but always strive for as much self love as I can muster even if it seems so out of reach.

I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the human psyche and human stories, not only mine but others, to better embrace and expand this reality and stigma around mental wellness and true happiness. Once I began learning to celebrate challenge and that not everything has to be perfect for me to be happy, the clouds began to part. My biggest saviors have been my faith, my family and friends, my relationships, my art, my honesty and truth, my writing, my fitness and dance/movement. Find YOUR form of self-expression and courage to create, because that’s your gift to not only this world- but yourself.

Take care of your heart, your soul, your head and your spirit. It’s all connected, and on your side. When you make the right choices of surrounding yourself as best you can with goodness, happiness, creation, education, positivity, honesty, truth and inspiring things and people, your perspective begins to broaden little by little. Choose patience. Choose trust. Choose joy. Choose self care. Choose exploration. Choose growth. Choose to embrace. Choose love. Choose life. Choose YOU.”
