Quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson has been a constant driving factor for his team since he entered the league in 2012. He has missed one start, plays through injuries, and has had one of the best mindsets ever. To back it all up, he has the stats. He has the touchdowns, he has the yard, he has the wins.

Though he’s only won 1 Super Bowl in 2 appearances, Wilson has been a wrecking force his entire career. Sounds pretty amazing, so what’s my point? Wilson has never received an MVP vote. Well, now many viewers are starting to take notice at Wilson’s ability, and analyzer Colin Cowherd believes this could be his year.

The comments are filled with viewers who agree, “Let him cook! Russell Wilson MVP!!!”, “this is the year for Russ”, “Russ is so consistent”, and hilariously enough “The only person who really couldn’t care less about Russell Wilson winning the mvp…is Russell Wilson.”

Wilson has made a career of being modest and going out and doing his job week in and week out and it doesn’t seem to bother him one bit that he’s never gotten a vote. Well, the fans are annoyed for you Wilson, and after his hot start to the season with 9 TDs and over an 80% completion rate, he could very well be poised for a very big season.

What do you think? Do you think Russell Wilson could win the MVP? Let us know in the comments below.
