Netflix’s ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness’ brings to life Capcom’s ‘Resident Evil’ games to a new animated series. From what we know and what we saw in the very small glimpse of the series, it looks like it will star Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
We don’t see much from the teaser, just Claire investigating a long hallway and seemingly finding a dead body holding a shotgun, followed by a zombie quick cut jump scare and a glimpse at Leon and his perfect, flowing hair. Take a look at the teaser below that was uploaded with the following description,
“Based on the Capcom video game franchise, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a horror series with a sci-fi twist. Coming 2021 only on Netflix.”

Fans of the ‘Resident Evil’ franchise are seemingly looking forward to this new series, “The animated resident evil movies were great so I’m all in for this series!”, “So after all these years, Claire and Leon are gonna meet up again? They haven’t seen each other since Degeneration.”, “we deserve more of this CGI movie, we don’t want any live-action if it’s going to diverge from source material to ruin the legacy of the game” and “This is a big and absolute: YESSSSSSS !!”.
Are you looking forward to this series and do you think Leon and Claire might become a thing? Fans seem to want these two together. Have you watched any of the animated ‘Resident Evil’ features? They’re pretty solid flicks, so hopefully, this series will follow suit.
