Netflix’s ‘Cobra Kai’ is being seen for the first time by many viewers after it’s acquisition from YouTube Red. I know I just watched the first two seasons in three days and am dying for the third season. There’s a lot to figure out after the end of season two, and star William Zabka (Johnny) threw out some information in a recent interview with Collider, Zabka said,
“I could tell you what I felt at the end of last season… how painful it was, really, how viscerally painful it was to hand the keys over to Kreese, and to see Miguel in the hospital,” he said. “There was this hopelessness. And there was no Season 3 script, I didn’t know where it was going to go, so the dead end was right there, and throwing the bottle against the car, so I kind of came into Season 3 at that point.”
“I think Johnny is growing, but he’s definitely going to have some downs and some ups, and some downs and some ups, and some sideways,” he continued. “He wasn’t doing too well at the end of Season 2, and you know, it picks up a little bit later in time after Season 2, Season 3 does, so you’re going to meet the result of what those events would do to someone like Johnny Lawrence.”
Netflix’s ‘Cobra Kai’ Star William Zabka Hints At Time Jump For Season Three
There’s a lot of speculation as to how much time will take place between the seasons, but I think we can expect Miguel to be healed and back to fighting form so we don’t have to waste a lot of time with him healing in the episodes.
What do you think? How long will the time jump be? Let us know in the comments below.
