There are some fans, skeptics and critics out there who believe that the person who looks like Aubrey O’Day in Palm Springs might not be Aubrey O’Day at all. Even though some media outlets have identified the woman who is presumed to be the former chart topper currently residing at the Holiday House, others are not so sure. Here’s what you need to know.
Just this week The Daily Mail posted more photos of what appears to be Aubrey taking a leisurely swim at the hotel’s pool. A few sources have told the site that Aubrey has been rather chatty with hotel guests and even told one person that she can’t be seen in West Hollywood in a bikini otherwise it will “end up on TMZ.”

Apparently, the hotel guests were just as confused as whether or not the person they were talking to was in fact Aubrey as she looked so different than her social media photos. The tipster told the publication, “Yet we all found it odd that she was bragging about who she was and wasn’t trying to be low key at all, while also tagging her location at the hotel. When I would look at her Instagram stories when we were there she would post from the pool at night (not showing herself) and I could even hear my voice in the background.”
“Yet shortly after she would post what must be a completely old photo of herself pretending to be at the pool but it was not the same location that we were actually at,” the source revealed.
While there are some people who think that the Aubrey that has been spotted in Palm Springs is an imposter, the Daily Mail points out that the woman’s tattoos match that of what the real Aubrey has been photographed with in the past: a bar code neck tattoo and a Latin scripture ink on her torso. The Latin slogan emblazoned on her side reads: ‘Per aspera ad astra,’ loosely translated as ‘through hardships to the stars.’
