British Royal Family News says that the disgraced Prince Andrew is being airbrushed from the royal family ahead of his father Prince Philip’s 100th birthday celebrations.
That’s because there’s a very good chance that the royal family wants to keep Prince Andrew under the radar as much as possible, mostly because of the controversial headlines he’s made because of his associations with Jeffrey Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Is Being Airbrushed Out Of The Royal Family
According to Page Six, Prince Andrew will not be invited to any of the major celebrations thrown to celebrate his father’s milestone birthday next June.
While anything can certainly happen between now and June, the monarchy has already decided to airbrush any and all of the family photos that has Prince Andrew in it, despite the fact that he is one of four children that Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth share together.
“There is a warning from up high to play down Andrew. He will be included as little as possible,” an insider said, insisting it was “not whitewashing history” because he wasn’t being left out “entirely.”
However, the source adds that, “It will not make a big deal of his relationship with the Duke of Edinburgh over the years. This is obviously proving difficult because he is his son and it’s playing down his role in the family.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Prince Andrew has been asked to keep his distance from his family. Earlier this summer Prince Andrew was nowhere to be seen when his daughter Princess Beatrice married her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
While the royal family released a socially-distant photo of Beatrice and Edo along with Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth, there have been no photos made public of the bride with her parents, suggesting that Prince Andrew wasn’t at the wedding altogether.
