TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers says that I have to hand it to Tim, unlike a lot of the stars on 90 day faincé, he has made a genuine effort to embrace the language of his new homeland. I’m sure there have been other attempts, but not to this level.
He’s really made a lot of effort into learning the language and it shows because he was calling and asking in spanish for a taxi. But somewhere in that call there seemed to be a disconnect because they sent a motorcycle taxi instead of the regular cabs that we’re used to.

My question is, what exactly did Tim say to make them think that he would want to travel in a motorcycle taxi? I mean, I guess that might be the way people with no luggage travel down there but I can’t really blame him for not wanting to climb on the back of a motorcycle in front of a large truck.
What if poor Tim had decided to fully embrace the way the locals travel? I can only imagine this ending the same way Sheldon Cooper’s time on a scooter did, screaming in terror all the way to the employment office. Considering he was wearing nice clothing I’m glad that he opted to call the cab company and request an actual car instead.
It looks like that the motorcycle wasn’t his only problem. He had the best of intentions, he wanted to get a job ASAP so that he could further make up for all the cheating he did and get Melyza’s Dad’s blessing so they could get married, but the Colombian government has other ideas.
Apparently, in order to even get a work permit within the country you have to get married first, but it looks like the only way that Melyza’s Dad will give his blessing is if Tim has a job first. So he’s stuck in a cache-22, so now what?
My question is, did Melyza’s Dad know about this catch and intentionally mislead his son-in-law? Telling him that he had to have a job first when he knew he couldn’t even get one without being married to his daughter?
I’m not trying to accuse him of that because from what we’ve seen, Melyza’s Dad is a pretty honest and straightforward guy, after all he did straight up tell the guy he didn’t like the fact that he cheated on his daughter, but it would be interesting if he decided to twist the knife just a little further.
While I don’t actually think that Melyza’s Dad would intentionally do a thing like this, stranger things have definitely happened. Stay tuned!!!
