TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers reveal that we watching Asuelu got old the second he started being antagonistic to Kalani in the car. He needs better ways of dealing with his frustration rather than taking it out on his wife and unfairly comparing her to women that she did not grow up with.
She did not grow up in Samoan culture and just because she didn’t, Asuelu seems to think that the women he grew up with were superior because they did and still do everything by hand. He wants to go back to Samoa constantly and if I were Kalani, child or not, I would pack his bags for him and tell him don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Will Kalani and Asuelu call it quits?
He’s hard to watch because you always get the feeling that Kalani is going to cave to him because he literally acts like a child 90% of the time unless he’s around some male member of the family and then he seems to fall in line. Probably because he’s a beta male and can sense when there is an actual, real man in the room and not somebody that’s just puffing out his chest to look scary.
Asuelu kind of reminds me of a prairie chicken, you know those weird birds that puff out their chests during mating season to make themselves look bigger and more intimidating? Yeah, that’s exactly what he reminds me of.
In the latest preview of 90 day fiancé happily ever after, they have finally made it to Samoa (maybe Asuelu can stop harping about it now) and they are at dinner with his family when his Mom pipes up and flat out demands her money up front. If I didn’t know better I would think that she was some sort of mob boss bookie rather than the guy’s Mom.
She is quick to shut down Kalani when she tries to jump in and defend Asuelu against this obvious extortion attempt. She says, “We are talking to my son!” As if Kalani’s not even part of the family! She’s his wife and they have two children together that are her Grandchildren, I think Kalani deserves more respect than this.
Asuelu looks blindsided because he obviously didn’t bring the money and I guess he expected his family to be understanding like a normal family would and realize that he is a regular joe with a regular job back in the states and money doesn’t grow on trees. Actually, does Asuelu have a job in the states? Correct me if I’m wrong there I just recently started following this couple.
Something that I find extremely suspect is how Asuelu, after being in the states for this long is just now complaining about how Kalani isn’t like Samoan women and is just now complaining about how he always wants to go back to Samoa. That, coupled with his Mother’s insistence on him bringing her money make me wonder something.
Has Mommy Dearest picked out wifey #2 for Asuelu behind the scenes? Is that why he wants to suddenly go back to Samoa so he can meet this lovely Samoan girl who does everything by hand and never asks him to take care of his own children?
Here’s a hypothetical scenario for you, say Asuelu complained to Mommy Dearest about Kalani, say it happened more than once. Say Mommy Dearest got fed up with her big TV star son not being happy and she decided to take matters into her own hands and find him a wifey type that would do all the things that he wanted done while he sat back and enjoyed life with a little woman who wouldn’t question him.
That sounds like a likely scenario The money thing is probably its own thing and I would hope is unrelated to this but honestly you never know. Whatever the case, Kalani deserves better. Stay tuned!!!
