TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ spoilers suggest that Tania has some PTSD after the car accident she had that messed up her ankle a few months ago. When she and Syngin traveled to South Africa to visit his family, Syngin was the one driving, because the car was a stick shift and I am guessing Tania didn’t know how to drive one of those.
(No judgment here, stick shifts aren’t really that common anymore.) Also, driving with a boot and with limited ankle mobility is virtually impossible so there’s also that. The moment Syngin pulled out if the parking lot he pulled a move that instantly triggered Tania. Now, I’m going to say that that happened because he was just so happy to be home that he didn’t think about making a sudden move.
TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ Spoilers – Poor Tania Maduro! PTSD After Car Accident?
But poor Tania almost broke down into full-on tears over this. She said that if she had been the one driving that she would have been more careful. She was legit triggered by the experience and I can see why. Fortunately, I’ve never been in a car accident quite as serious as Tania’s but have been in fender benders before and it was months before I could stop flinching when someone would back up.
Even now if a car gets too close or pulls out in front of me I have a tendency to scream. I can see where she’s coming from. But the thing is, Tania has a legit reason to be that traumatized over it, she was injured in her accident.
She probably has fears that if she’s ever in another one and has to get out of and away from front he vehicle quickly, she won’t be able to and I could definitely see that because she said that she’s had trouble getting the mobility back in her ankle.
Fortunately, this is one thing Syngin didn’t seem to fight her too much on. Initially, he did laugh, but once he saw that she was crying, he backed off and said that he didn’t mean to be “that guy” about her experience. As much trouble as they’ve had in the relationship department lately, at least we know that on this front, he’s sympathetic to her.
I wonder whether or not they will make it though because it looks like Syngin wants to move back to South Africa and Tania, as we’ve all seen, is an American Girl. She was born and raised here and I don’t think she has any real desire to leave. Next week it looks like Syngin may just channel his inner drunken frat boy with his friends, we’ll see how that turns out. Stay tuned!!!
