CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that there are somethings that go beyond shocking, and the show has learned most of the time it involves Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Not that it’s a surprise to anyone.
In this episode, coming to us from May 15, 1992, Sheila will admit about swapping out a black market baby with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman)’s.

The whole this was pretty morbid, as Lauren thought her baby had died.
Then Sheila’s mother, Molly Carter (Marilyn Alex) told Lauren about it, putting the two of them in a dangerous situation.
Everyone caught up? Then away we go!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For August 3: Locked away
With her act in the open, Sheila reacts as any sane person would. She kidnapped Lauren and Molly and locked them in a farmhouse.
See? Totally normal.
As one would expect with Sheila, things got a little heated between her and Sheila.
At some point, the two got into a struggle and a kerosene lantern was knocked over and the farmhouse caught on fire with everyone inside.
As expected, our heroes escaped while Sheila supposedly burned with the house.
Of course, it’s hard to keep a fun villain like Sheila down and she resurfaced a few years later.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For August 3: Continuity would be nice
‘Young and the Restless’ have said this time and again, but we’d really like some kind of continuity with these theme weeks.
This was an awesome storyline and it would’ve been nice to see the whole thing leading up to this moment, but instead, we just get the culmination.
Sure, it’s awesome to see our old favorites again, including the original two episodes. But this could’ve been so much more than just a stopgap.
We could’ve experienced something special that goes beyond just an episode here and there.
This has also given us a chance to realize how awesome it’d be if we had a channel that showed the older episodes and other shows, and maybe somewhere someone heard us and it’ll happen.
Whether it will or not is going to hang out there for a while as we’re reportedly getting new episodes starting next week. Yep, new episodes of Y&R will begin airing on August 10.
We’re about to jump back on the horse and see what the future holds. It might be hard going back to the present after seeing how awesome the show was, but it’s what we wanted. And we’ll have some continuity, too.
