CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers have revealed that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is soon to be dating this doctor, a certain Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), we’ve already seen him go over to her place to drop off her discharge papers, a move that was kind of questionable seeing as most doctors cut their relationships at the hospital doors once a patient is discharged, but rumor has it that Dr. Finn is one of those hands-on types of doctors, yeah, you know the type.
Steffy was just in a motorcycle accident caused by Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) so right now she is in some major, major pain. Of course, Dr. Finn is going to want to soothe that anyway he can.

CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Will Steffy Become Addicted To Prescription Drugs After Hospital Stay?
You get where this is going, right? This is a tale as old as time, or at least as old as All My Children, where I do believe that there was a similar storyline done with Erica Cane (Susan Lucci) where she started dating this doctor after some god-awful accident that she had and he, surprise surprise, started supplying her with pills.
Poor Steffy, she can’t have a nice, normal boyfriend nope she has to date one of those doctor/pill-pusher types right after jumping from ol’ wishy-washy Liam who seems to be the only decent guy around these days. (Well, halfway decent at least. He’s still wishy-washy.)
So how soon is it going to take for Steffy to get addicted to these pills? Probably not long. It usually only takes a couple of weeks to become physically dependent on any kind of opiate medication, and if Steffy has broken bones (which I suspect she does) she may be taking these opiates for a while yet.
As someone who has had broken bones before, it’s often not a matter of if you want to take the medication or not, while healing it’s a case of needing to take it, usually for the entire duration of the healing process, which is anywhere from 4-6 weeks. If Steffy spaces her pills too close together or perhaps has the doctor write her a few because she claims to be in pain while she’s really just stressed out about something then… that’s going to be on her. Whoops.
However, when Dr. Finn injected her with the pain medication in the hospital I got an odd vibe off him like he almost got pleasure out of doing that. So he could just be a pusher in a lab coat waiting to get ahold of his next victim, which seems to be highly likely. Oy, and here we thought that Steffy was just going to be in a happy relationship for once, but, I guess that’s just not to be, is it? Yikes. Stay tuned!!!
