CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers suggest that star Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester) recently opened up about a personal detail that not a lot of people know about him. The B&B newcomer says it was almost his destiny to become an actor from the moment that he was born. Here’s what he has to say.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Delon says there was a good reason why he recently posted a photo of acclaimed French actor and 1960’s sex symbol Alain Delon on his Instagram page. That’s because he was named after the actor. And just like Alain Delon, a lot of people would agree that Delon de Metz is just as handsome and talented, too!

Delon told the publication, “I was completely named after him. My mom was a big fan of his, although I’m not actually sure how many movies she has seen of his. I’ve seen pretty much all of them. She might have just thought he was cute, which I think is probably the more likely answer. But she liked him and she liked the name, and so I got it.”
Delon says that he’s not the only member of the family who was given a famous namesake. He continued, “My brother is actually named Brandon after Marlon Brando, which is interesting because he lives in the finance world. He did not take the art route, and yet he was named after an actor everybody knows. Since both of us are named after actors, I supposed it shouldn’t be a surprise that at least one of us went into the business.”
