British Royal Family News suggests that Thomas Markle Sr. has given up hope on his daughter, Meghan Markle and his son-in-law, Prince Harry. That is, he’s given up hope on ever reuniting with them. The last time the former Hollywood lighting director spoke to his daughter was right before her wedding to Prince Harry back in May of 2018.
Thomas had to cancel his trip to London at the very last minute, citing health issues. Their relationship has never been the same and unfortunately, had led to a messy court battle with a British tabloid publication. Here’s what you need to know.

Along with Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the British Royal Family, Thomas Markle Sr. has been left fuming after reading extracts of the new explosive book, Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.
Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex claim to have not contributed to the book, the intimate details about their life behind palace closed doors and all of the feuds between them and Prince William and Kate Middleton suggests otherwise.
According to Britain’s The Mirror, Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. claims that their father has had enough of all the drama. He now plans to travel around the world to distract himself from all of the heartbreak that has been left in Meghan’s trail.
Tom Markle Jr. told the site, ““As far as a reunion goes, he’s given up on Meghan and Harry completely. He doesn’t trust her and doesn’t want to know that person because of the lies, manipulation and deceit. He just had his 76th birthday – needless to say, he didn’t hear from Meghan.”
So far Harry and Meghan have not made any public comments about the book, nor have their said anything about their estrangement from Meghan’s father.
