Univision Vencer el miedo spoilers reveal this new series was a hit in Mexico. It debuted on July 20th here in the US, and we can see why it’s popular. In a previous article, we mentioned how it’s a joint project. The influence of that and the purpose of the production is obvious.
At the end of each episode, an actor from the series does a PSA about domestic violence and the things that are dealt with in the show. Let’s take a look at a couple of moments from the premiere week.

Univision Vencer el miedo Spoilers: Bad influence
First, the series is centered around a group of related women of different ages. But the main focus seems to be the younger daughter of Inés Durán (Arcelia Ramírez), Marcela Durán (Paulina Goto). She’s a young girl with a dream of being an artist.
But her father’s a terrible man who mistreats his wife and dismisses Marcela’s talent. She’s so desperate to get away from him and this neighborhood, she ends up making a huge mistake.
Her boyfriend, Rommel Guajardo (Emmanuel Palomares), talks her into stealing a car. And scenes throughout the first week show he was somewhat using her for shady business. But she bought his lines about escaping together and took the car. There was just one problem…
Univision Vencer el miedo Spoilers: Surprise!
During the heist, she catches the attention of the police. Marcela freaks out and leads the cop on a chase that ends with her crashing into a wall she’d painted a mural on. While she did momentarily get away, witnesses led them right to her door and she ended up at a juvenile facility.
Vencer el miedo spoilers reveal that’s where she learned a horrible secret. There was a body in the trunk of that car. Marcela pleaded innocence, but she still ended up in a facility for three years. For some reason, she remained quiet for a long time. However, that changed later in the week.
Univision Vencer el miedo Spoilers: Plotting
The victim happened to be high profile and his father wanted justice. He actually tried to keep her from leaving Juvie, but they’d never found any actual evidence she did kill his son. Eventually, she speaks to Horacio Cifuentes (César Évora) and makes a deal with him.
Marcela will hand him the ones she believes are guilty. To do that, she tries to get in with her former love’s gang. Her first attempt ultimately failed, but we’ll have to wait and see if she can get in good.

Univision Vencer el miedo Spoilers: Trauma
Elsewhere, Vencer el miedo spoilers reveal her sister, Cristina Durán (Jade Fraser) is a talented swimmer who had Olympic dreams. These dreams are crushed by a rape that makes her freeze in the middle of a competition.
Instead, she eventually turns to the law, but her past experience comes back to haunt her when she has to assist in an assault case. We’ll have to wait and see if she can get through this and follow this new dream.
Univision Vencer el miedo Spoilers: Problems at home
Finally, there’s Areli Durán (Emilia Berjón). She’s Marcela and Cristina’s niece. She lost her mother in the premiere. The mother had a heart condition she didn’t quite take seriously enough and had an attack after Marcela’s arrest.
Her death led to a new woman eventually coming into her father, Lorenzo Bracho’s (Axel Ricco), life. Elvira Tinoco (Michelle González) seems to mean well in a lot of ways, but we think she’s too pushy. And Areli doesn’t seem to like her much.
We understand it wasn’t Elvira’s place to have “the talk” when she saw Areli looking at inappropriate pictures online. But this is a 13-year-old girl who is taking sex education now and had questions Lorenzo wouldn’t answer.
Instead of going to Lorenzo in a panic and acting like Areli is two seconds from a depraved life, she could’ve suggested he have a talk instead. It would’ve been better than her working him up into taking away the internet. Especially since Areli uses it for school. Can Elvira loosen up a bit, and will Areli accept her? Stay tuned to find out.
