British Royal Family News suggests that unfortunately for everyone involved, things will never be the same between Prince William and Prince Harry and their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
That’s because the new book, Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, has exposed so much private information about the supposed feud that has been going on behind the scenes that the damage at this point is irreparable. At least, that’s what royal experts believe. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal Family News: Things Will Never Be The Same Between William, Harry, Kate And Meghan Ever Again
Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand worked with at least 100 sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to gather as much information and details as possible about Harry and Meghan’s experience with the royal family before they ultimately decides to pack their bags and ‘Megxit’ for a new life in Los Angeles.
In a new interview with People Magazine, Scobie believes that there’s been so much hurt that at this point, a lot of damage has been done. The book mostly talks about the fallout between the two brothers and their respective wives.
The authors also hint that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton had a strained relationship from the first day that they met. The book says, “Though it was not necessarily her responsibility, Kate did little to bridge the divide.”
The book also suggests that Prince William referred to Meghan Markle as a “showgirl” and that he told his brother not to rush with a royal wedding. The authors say that while William was happy for his brother, he just wanted to make sure that Prince Harry wasn’t blinded by lust. This, apparently, was the tipping point for Harry which ultimately began the ongoing feud between the two royal brothers.
One source close to the situation said, “But then, this totally sums them up as people—William the calm and rational one, and Harry, who can’t help but take things far too personally.” Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, hits bookstores August 11th.
