Telemundo news reveals there’s a lot of change ahead. And it starts tonight. Usually, Telenovelas air like our soaps, five days a week. However, we were surprised to see some adverting that breaks that tradition. Let’s take a look at the latest.

Telemundo news: Cennet
Don’t worry, Cennet fans. It looks like that show will not be affected by the changes happening. Telemundo news reveals that show is still airing every Friday night. We would guess that’s partly due to the fact it’s Telemundo’s highest-rated novela right now. Plus, it’s at an earlier time slot. The rest of Telemundo’s offerings, however, won’t be seen tonight. So, what’s taking their place?
Telemundo news: Movie night
From a post on the official Telemundo instagram, it appears Friday night movies will air in place of 100 días para enamorarnos and Enemigo íntimo. At least for the month of July. The movie night kicks off at 9 PM EST with 2 Guns. It’s a 2013 action movie starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg as two men planning a meet with a drug lord played by Edward James Olmos. What Mark Walhberg’s character doesn’t know is, his partner is actually an undercover DEA agent.
According to the wiki page, the film is based on a comic series. Stay tuned to the network to see what other films are planned. They also have offerings on Saturday and Sunday as well. Saturday, Hercules will kick things off at 7 PM EST, followed by Collateral Damage at 9 PM. As for Sunday, we’ll see End of Days and John Wick at the same times, respectively. So where does that leave the rest of Telemundo’s programming?
Telemundo news: Comings and goings
First, an ad aired during Thursday’s edition of 100 días saying the show is now in its final episodes. What that means for the future, we don’t know. It could last a couple more weeks, at least, since other shows did the same when they were in final episodes. Also, the production was shut down, so expect cliffhangers ahead, while fans will be curious to see when/if production resumes.
We’ve also got an edition of La Voz that will be coming to the network soon, as well as the return of the popular competition series Exatlón Estados Unidos. There’s no official date for Exatlón yet, as the ads only say “soon”. Stay tuned for more as it becomes available.
