After witnessing what looked like a major house party on Mulholland Drive, Hilary took to her Instagram account to express just how she felt about it, while also noting that no one had their masks on. “A–holes. No masks (of course),” Duff told her 15.2 million followers. “Girls in bathing suits and Louboutin’s waiting to get in like a line at a club.”
The singer and actress, who was with her husband Matthew Koma and their daughter Banks at the time, went on to say that the state of California’s coronavirus problem will never improve, especially when there are so many people to are not taking this health crisis as seriously as others.

“California is in bad shape (in so many ways) but doesn’t everyone think we all want to go out freely and travel and enjoy summer,” Duff said. “It really seems like Americans just don’t care about each other.” If that weren’t enough, she added, “It’s embarrassing that we are worse than ever because people need to party and Karens won’t wear masks” while also adding a little shade to Kanye West’s recent announcement that he is running for POTUS by adding, “Oh and I’m running for President.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for Hilary’s fans to comment on her post. Quite a few left messages such as, “I completely agree… what happened to the states.. used to be one of the most powerful countries and now most are acting ignorant over there. Not solving anything and making it worse,” along with, “This is EXACTLY how I feel about the situation in our country. It is mind boggling!” Another fan wrote, “I feel like wearing a mask and social distancing is showing you care about other people. This shouldn’t be about politics, it should be about humanity. I feel like so many people in this country are so entitled and selfish.”
