British Royal Family News: Prince William Ushers In The Opening Of Pubs Across England With A Pint

British royal family news has revealed that Prince William is delighted that the pubs have begun to reopen across the United Kingdom. William showed his support for the industry sector by being pictured enjoying a pint of his favourite cider at his local pub. The picture was taken on the eve of the opening of the pubs across the country, at his local called the Rose and Crown.

There is a great deal of excitement around the country, as visitors will be welcomed into the pubs for the first time in nearly four months on Saturday. The measures were lifted in the United Kingdom so that pubs could open their doors providing that they have the relevant safety measures in place to ensure that the risk of the spread of the disease is minimal.

British Royal Family News: William Questions Landlord

The one big fear among people that are thinking of going to the pub this weekend is how the measures will be implemented, and whether people will be following the guidelines that are in place. William was keen to get the landlord’s perspective of how the day will go, and asked whether he was worried whether the day could get ‘out of hand’.

William was pictured entering the Rose and Crown, and was even seen sanitising his hands as he entered. He then went straight to the bar, and ordered a pint of Aspall Suffolk Draught Cyder. He revealed to the landlord that he was more of a cider drinker, and also ordered a portion of fries to enjoy with the pint.

British Royal Family News: Not The First Time William Has Visited

After making his order and taking his drink to the outside seating area, he was joined by members of the staff. He was keen to ensure that he paid for his drinks, and promised that he would settle his tab before he left. It isn’t the first time that the Duke has visited the pub, as the Anmer Hall estate is just a few miles away from the pub.

The support would be a welcome sign for the sector, which has really struggled over the previous couple of months, with uncertainty clouding over whether many of the pubs would be able to re-open. Instead, pubs across the country will be opening their doors after the easing of the measures means that pubs across the country will be able to open at 6 am.
