Netflix 365 Dni news says that everyone has been asking the same question for the last two weeks now: how did the filmmakers and the actors manage to get all of the sex scenes to look so real? Luckily, we’ve got the answer for you right here!
In 365 Dni, Michele Morrone plays Massimo, a member of the Sicilian Mafia family. His love conquest, Laura, is played by Polish actress Anna Maria Sieklucka. The film follows Laura, a young woman in a spiritless relationship falling for a dominant man with a dangerous lifestyle who imprisons her and gives her 365 days to fall in love with him. The film has drawn parallels with Fifty Shades of Grey, but has also been criticized for kidnapping.
Netflix 365 Dni News: Cinematographer Explains Why The Intimate Scenes Looked So Real
The film’s cinematographer Bartek Cierlica explained just how he filmed the sex scenes to make them look so real in a new interview with Variety. He said, “Each sex scene in this movie is different. The relationship evolves. It starts with fear of the unknown and temptation. It evolves through pure sex with BDSM and ends with love. The main idea was to create the rising tension between the two heroes starting from their first meeting. We wanted the viewer to participate in playing the game that Laura tries to play with Massimo and discover her sexuality and sensuality with her.”
Cierlica also said that they made sure to make the atmosphere as intimate as possible by making sure there were only a few people behind the camera. That way the two actors could get comfortable – or at least as comfortable as they can – with each other.
“We wanted the camera to be as much invisible as possible, to let them act, so indeed the takes were very, very long,” he added. “We created the most intimate atmosphere we could for the actors. We reduced the on-set crew to an absolute minimum. As it was handheld I was following their action, and trying to show their passion in a natural but beautiful way. We wanted this sex to be pretty authentic. We wanted the viewer to hear their whispers, heavy breaths and we wanted to show the sweat, passion. Be natural, authentic, but not to cross the border of pornography.”
So far Netflix has made no comments about whether or not there will be a sequel to the movie, but some reports have indicated that a second movie is in the works, but has been delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
