CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 8 are here and ready to go with a new batch of throwback spoilers to get us ready for Romance Week. Yep, we’re going to be treated to some of the most heartfelt moments in Genoa City history as couples stumble along in each other’s arms, lost in their love and passion for each other.
To get things started right, the first episode up to bat originally aired on July 18, 1986. It’s a great choice as the older episodes have really struck a chord with fans and renewed our love in the show and characters from a bygone era. With many of us still craving new episodes, these have done a fairly decent job of holding down the fort. CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have their tissues ready, and maybe some champagne to replace any water loss.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For June 8: Love is in the air
Some of the most iconic characters are ready to hit things off, starting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s attempts to romance Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Out of all the romances, this was one of the more fun and engaging ones that rocked Genoa City and made life interesting for Victor and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). This is one for the ages, and it’s always fun to relive Victor and Ashley’s moments together. Of course, this means Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is on the prowl. Or, in this case, she’s the focus of someone that’s not Victor or Jack.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For June 8: Victor Romances Ashley – Nikki is Wined and Dined; John is Charmed by Joanna
Matt Miller (Robert Parucha) is intent on showing Nikki a good time in an attempt to share what his brother, Victor, pushed aside. This is one of those relationships that has the potential to be sweet and antagonistic (Aren’t they all, really?) as it moves forward. It does do a good job of following soaps’ tendency to dance the incestuous line by keeping things in the family. But there’s always more, and this episode really hits the ball out of the park as John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) is wooed by Joanna Manning (Susan Seaforth Hayes). This is one of the cool type of storylines where high school friends attempt to push their relationship to another level. It’s one of those angles that has so much potential we want to see them succeed.
Just like the above relationships, this week has so much potential to be one of the best. What romance are you looking forward to seeing this week? Check back with CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
