British Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reach Out To Prince Philip

British Royal Family News says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be across the pond in Los Angeles, but that doesn’t mean they’ve completely lost touch with the rest of the British royal family. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says the Duke and Duchess reached out to Prince Philip for a very important occasion. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Express.co.uk, the British royal family is kicking off the month of June by celebrating one of the most important people in the monarchy: Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip. As a matter of fact, Philip will be celebrating his 99th birthday on June 10th. And even though he’s someone who is very “low key” and doesn’t want much fuss surrounding his birthday, everyone is reaching out and calling him, especially since the entire royal family has been separated and in isolation because of the global pandemic that is the coronavirus.

If that weren’t enough, the site says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly already reached out to Prince Philip to wish him a happy birthday even though his actual birthday is still several days away. Prince Philip is said to be sheltering-in-place with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle. Back in April, Philip had actually issued a rate statement thanking those working in the NHS during these challenging and uncertain times that we live in.

He wrote: “As we approach World Immunisation Week, I wanted to recognize the vital and urgent work being done by so many to tackle the pandemic; by those in the medical and scientific professions, at universities and research institutions, all united in working to protect us from COVD-19. “On behalf of those of us who remain safe and at home, I also wanted to thank all key workers who ensure the infrastructure of our life continues; the staff and volunteers working in food production and distribution, those keeping postal and delivery services going, and those ensuring the rubbish continues to be collected.”
