ABC ‘The Bachelor’ spoilers finds that fans were very happy to see the announcement that Bekah Martinez has had her second child. She and her boyfriend, Grayston Leonard, welcomed their baby boy this past weekend. They already have a daughter named Ruth Ray De La Luz and Martinez has been sharing a lot of adorable photos. “He’s here! Born blissfully in our living room at 2:52 am, June 19th, 7 lbs, 8 oz. No name yet: Suggestions welcome. Birth story coming soon,” she posted on Instagram.

Throughout Bekah’s pregnancy, she has posted many photos of herself and her pregnant belly. A week ago, she made a post that really got her fans chiming in about her views and her posts. The picture was of her in the tub and showing off her belly. She wrote, “My due date is in 10 days. Never did I imagine that this year would unfold the way it has, but I feel honored to be living through it. I have hope that 2020 will be a catalyst. That revolution and reflection will continue on.Maybe this pain in our country will, like labor, lead to the birth of a new beginning. For the times, they are a changin’.” Her followers were not quite sure what labor pains have to do with the state of our world right now.

Followers posted, “the fight to defund the police and lift up black voices isn’t over. curious why you’re centering yourself in your feed if you stand with BLM.” Bekah actually replied to this follower, “you’re right, it’s not! the fight is not ending for me this week and it didn’t start last week either for me. the simple truth is that my page will continue to have content about me and my family (centering myself) AND I will continue to share about racial justice and donate a % of my IG ads as I have done. thank you for this question, I think it’s an important one to be asking. (OTHER FOLLOWERS PLEASE DO NOT ATTACK THIS COMMENT.)” That same follower chimed back in, “thanks for this response. I enjoy your content and your perspective a lot but it has been especially jarring to see posts like this as I scroll when everyone else I follow is dedicating space to education and sharing resources rather than selfies.”
One fan was very protective of Bekah though, “she can post whatever she wants… it’s her page, she’s right, she wants to have content about her growing family, that’s acceptable. I only respond to this because I’ve been doing the same thing. And she can still post about BLM too.” One more wrote, “It’s getting quite annoying to see everyone have such high expectations for people with a platform on IG and the entitlement for them to give out all this information. She’s obviously been vocal, but it’s not HER JOB to educate YOU or anyone else. She has provided more than enough information.

It’s sad to see so many people complaining about this. We are all grown adults and have the the power of technology to go on that journey and find information. No one is entitled to be educated on what’s going on. Bekah is also not black. She can only provide so much information. If you want more personal and educational content then maybe follow all the beautiful men and women who are black that can provide more in depth knowledge.” We are very happy that Bekah had a successful and healthy birth and we cannot wait to see more photos on Instagram of her adorable family.
