ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate we had some disappointing, and good, moments for the next installment of the Nurses Ball 2017. Let’s take a look at some highlights of the day, as well as something we really hope they focus on in future repeats.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Shafted again
First off, we’re feeling bad for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). After being tied up to keep her out of last year’s event, she had a slot actually scheduled. We loved Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) communicating this with someone over a headset and having to repeat that, yes, Liesl is supposed to be there.
However, General Hospital spoilers reveal it didn’t happen. And she has Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to thank. In what’s a big theme of each gala, someone was in trouble. In this case, Valentin was trying to make it right with Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford). He added to his already huge donation to be allowed to take her spot instead. We loved the performance, and it was nice to see Nina clearly moved. Still, something else got in the way.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Danger!
As is also typical, there is major drama ahead for this event. And we can mostly thank Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). After the magic act faced a setback, she and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) were backstage and considering doing the act themselves. But they didn’t realize the object they’re holding was a dangerous thing Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is trying to find. We hope there will be resolution before moving on to 2018. Obviously, everyone’s fine, but it’s nice to see how things play out.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Highlight
One of our favorite parts was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). In this one, he was set off by Ava Jerome (Maura West) making a donation in Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) name. He nailed the scenes where he learned his son’s meds were switched with placebos. And we’re looking forward to what drama might start up tomorrow over it.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Support
We also loved seeing a time when things were better in other respects. Namely, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) not being at war. He was even at her bedside in the hospital. It showed another side to Nelle, as well as leading to a sweet moment.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) let him leave before her performance to be with Nelle. But, that didn’t stop him from being there for his little sister at her debut. He called her to give her a last-second pep talk, then stayed on the line while she did her number. It’s a nice reminder of the good side of technology—even if it can be a headache at times! We can’t wait to see more of this sibling bond when the show comes back.
