To help, Toño sent Benjamín Cruz (Mario Alberto Monroy) to buy a ton of stuff from her business.
While Luchita Molina de Cortés (Azela Robinson) was busy finding extra bags for all the purchases, Benjamín planted an envelope of money for her to find. When Ricardo saw this, he confronted Benjamin, believing him to be a thief. It’s one more incident that could wake up Ricardo’s latent memories. But that’s not the only mishap here.

In his absence, a situation came up about stock purchases, and Toño had to make a decision alone. He seriously flipped a coin. Everyone at the company who heard about his choice had worries. They were right to be concerned.
Toño decided to go ahead with a huge purchase that didn’t work out. So, now the company has a ton of worthless stocks and millions in losses. This did not go over well, obviously, with Claudio Reyes Alonso (Gerardo Murguía). He’s so mad, he removed “Ricardo” from his position as president and named Damián as his replacement. We’re pretty sure it’s going to be an uphill battle for “Ricardo” to prove himself. So, we don’t expect him to be in the same power position for a long time. Meanwhile, it looks like Damián mostly got what he wanted. He’s in charge of the company and it’s money. And he has Claudio’s trust. We think this will impact his relationship with Natalia Lira Vargas (Claudia Martín). We expect him to get a little more distant, as his “fake” thing with Ivette Altamira (Gabriela Carrillo).
