TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days’ spoilers finds that Big Ed Brown of Before the 90 days recently celebrated his 55th birthday, and last night he was supposed to do a Live with Tori Spelling, yes, the Tori Spelling of former 90210 fame and the reality show Tori and Dean, showcasing her bed and breakfast. However, it would seem that something happened last night that caused Tori to suddenly cancel. She claimed technical difficulties but, since Big Ed has been receiving some backlash recently, it begs the question, was it really technical difficulties that prompted her to call off the live, or was it something else?
Let’s look at this from Tori’s point of view for a second. Big Ed has a lot more to gain from doing a live with Tori than Tori has to gain from doing a live with Big Ed. Big Ed, while he’s hot right now on social media and in circles where TLC and 90 day fiancé is popular, he’s not an actual TV star. At the end of the day, Big Ed is still what you would call a rising social media star, key word being rising, meaning, he ain’t made it yet.

So if Tori was to do a live with him, even if it was something as small as say, doing a cooking segment, a live is a more personal form of communication than say a TV show. TV is a place where you can pass the buck, even if you do a segment on a TV show somewhere you can always say that you didn’t know what sort of activities they were involved in behind the scenes and you were thrown together by producers. Doing a live with someone indicates that you personally know them and yo have personally invited them on to do live things with you because that’s the way social media work. You get connected to people.
If Tori still wanted to maintain her household name and wanted to maintain it in a good light and says he still wanted brand deals and everything, then one could see where she would want to wait on doing a live with Ed. Maybe wait until Before the 90 days is finished airing and then after the tell-all we could pick this up. After all, Tori’s career isn’t exactly, shall we say, on the forefront of anyone’s mind at the moment and she may want to keep her contacts in-tact. If she associated herself with someone like Big Ed who’s social media following has started to, shall we say, ‘peak’, it could mean career suicide for her.
So, it’d be a shrewd move for Tori to wait until such a time, when everything is out of in the open. Until then, Ed decided to do the live with a young fan instead who, according to some sources, was in 7th grade? At the time of this writing I have not seen the live, so I cannot verify, but that is what some sources were reporting. Still, that’s a little questionable considering all the fans he has that are actual adults and would probably like to do lives with him, but I digress.
