Peacock network news reveals that Kate del Castillo will be back on screen again in the show Armas de Mujer. It’s described as being a dramedy that will focus on a group of women who discover their men are involved in organized crime. We described it as a perfect fit for Castillo. In La Reina del Sur, her character, Teresa Mendoza, was thrown into the world of trafficking because of chance. She’d eventually become known as The Queen of the South. Let’s take a look at what else Kate’s got going on.
Peacock Network News: Masterclass
In a video that’s made of pure awesome, Kate gave a few pointers in being an action star. Actually, she described it as a master class from home that anyone can do. All it takes is some household items and a little imagination. The result? A hilarious bit of entertainment. Peacock network news hints we might be able to expect more videos like this in the future, but we’ll have to wait and see. For now, let’s talk this one.
Peacock Network News: Favorites
You’ll seriously have to check the video out above to see the whole thing. But we’d love to share a few of our personal favorite moments. They were relatable as well as offered a connection to her LRDS character. The first is, a very relatable moment. In one clip, Kate gives tips on dealing with tense phone conversations. We loved her threatening to kill “you” and “your family” if her problem isn’t fixed quickly. The barely-controlled, “Ma’am, I’m just trying to reconnect your wi-fi” response and the look on her face was great. It’s also probably relatable to anyone who’s had to sit through getting phone support. It’s sometimes a losing proposition.
In another highlight moment, she gives some tips for comforting a lover who’s about to die. In that clip, Kate desperately begs her love not to die, to please stay with her. Of course, she’s really talking to her cell phone, which is giving her that dreading circle of death. We’re sure a lot of people can relate to that one right now as well. Nothing worse than having a device cut out in the middle of an important video meeting, are we right?
